Meet the Team
The Spork. Not the only great thing to come out of Australia.
Small, but perfectly formed. Meet the Azured team (well, the ones in this time zone anyway).
Martin Ferguson
Founder, CEO and CTO
Superpower: Fluent in Nerd
Weakness: Revels, Minstrels, Curly Wurly, Double Decker, Twix, KitKat, Toblerone, Wispa, Fry's Turkish Delight
I’ve been immersed in the Microsoft cloud for most of my working life and it’s been a real privilege to be a part of this constantly evolving technology. The way the cloud enables us to work safely and efficiently from anywhere in the world is truly transformative; being able to contribute towards that is personally meaningful.
I approach every technical project with an open mind and a desire to make a difference. This can be done only with the support and input of our clients; my product development roadmap is forever maturing based on what they tell me of their challenges and vision.
I can be relied on to provide impartial advice – not just about our solutions, but on any technical subject. I’m interested only in building relationships based on mutual trust; designing and deploying solutions that make working life better.
Available for meetings, scoping, reviews and generally talking nerd for as long as people will let me.
Elsa Cheshire
Marketing Director
Superpower: Bossy. Man, she's bossy
Weakness: Tea, whippets and humidity
I plan our day-to-day marketing and comms activity and develop our longer term strategy; our mission and vision... what we stand for and the way we do things.
Trying to keep up with our technology developments for products and services such as Managed Sentinel, Escalation as a Service and our Cloud Security Review is tough, but rewarding – my fluency in nerd has definitely improved!
I'm proud of my part in successfully launching Azured in the UK back in 2019 and developing a meaningful brand that truly reflects the nature of our business and what it's like to work with us. We're a friendly, client-focused bunch of people with Star Trek level tech knowledge.
Reda Wahid
Head of Delivery
Superpower: Translation from Nerd to English
Weakness: Two hour long bubble baths. And chocolate brownies. With serious amounts of ice cream.
I’m here to make sure client projects are delivered on time, in budget and to the highest standard. I am great at bridging the gap between technical and non-technical, and am meticulous about ensuring requirements are met and expectations are exceeded. I get to work closely alongside our clients and see the big picture as they see it, giving me the chance to explore opportunities, improvements and economies.
I know just how important it is to ensure your business continuity during any project’s deployment and I strive for zero downtime and a seamless transition, every time.
I’m readily available to assist. Just pick up the phone, send me a mail or connect with me!
Laura Peters
Digital Marketing Manager
Superpower: Verging on unlikable likability
Weakness: Oh. Gosh. Errrr... let's make one up. I know! Sometimes, her leggings are an inch too short
I’m here to get stuff done. Sometimes it does feel like I’m trying to herd cats, but most of the time it doesn’t.
It’s a big responsibility, organising our team and keeping projects on schedule. But it’s one that I relish and take very seriously – we have visionary clients and a formidable team here at Azured and I’m totally committed to both.
I never thought I would be able to talk as confidently on the subject of zero trust networks as I can about zero waste living, yet here I am, getting my geek on daily! So, please feel free to drop me a message about conditional access policies or, for that matter, environmentally-friendly packaging and I’ll do my level best to help.
Mitchell Feldman
Non-Executive Director
Superpower: Serial entrepreneur and self-proclaimed social media 'ho
Weakness: Merging words that have no business being merged, Percy Pigs and spa days
With an innate love for tech and people, Mitchell is both a tech genius and a marketing guru. His 30 years’ experience includes working with some of the biggest and smartest players in the cloud space.
He was named Microsoft’s World Wide Cloud Partner of the Year (2014) and UK Cloud Award’s Entrepreneur of the Year (2018). Mitch has built and sold three tech companies, his latest was acquired by Hewlett Packard Enterprise in 2018. So, it’s fair to say that he’s kind of a big deal.
Mitchell is a guy who knows how to build brands and grow businesses – with technical wizardry at the heart. A strategist and leader, his knowledge and passion is compelling, inspiring – and massively infectious.
